What are the advantages of having the irons graphite shaft, instead of sheet steel shaft?
I was in a golf shop yesterday looking Big Bertha in 2008. The secretary asked me what my price range was, I said under $ 600. Thus the steel shafts were $ 599 and the rods graphite was $ 799 (obviously more than I wanted to spend.) He then proceeded to say "do not really want anyway graphite, which primarily for slow swingers or people with old injuries that need a lighter club.
